Happy Holidays all! Hopefully everyone had a joyful Easter and haven’t went completely insane eating every chocolate bunny ear that they could find! I took my final, final of this semester and should have a little more free time over the next couple of weeks so if there’s anything that anyone wants reviewed, let me know! Today was a PT day and we did quite a few calisthenics. We even did a circuit training challenge of sort where I pulled out a win scoring a delicious “power bar”. Gooooooooo Team!

Another 11lbs across the board. Everything felt good except for the cleans and they were just a sloppy more than anything. They require a little more coordination than I have that early in the day! My wrists are still struggling with the boxing stuff. It’s fun but painful at times.

I’m such a girl. Stupid Squats feeling like a billion pounds. Progression is there so it’s hard to be hard on myself, it’s just hard…I’m a wienie. The press worked out. Pull-Up’s are hard again. Over all a pretty good day.
Dietary adventures are “mildly” successful. We had an easer egg hunt and a recent job change leading to a lot of “I didn’t account for this” and easy temptations. It’ll work itself out. More and more daylight every day!

Are fat moms to blame for fat kids?
Here’s an interesting article that studies the link between moms and kids. Apparently there is a link between fat kids and moms more so than with their fathers. Did you know that? I didn’t know what. They looked for some sort of genetic link and came up empty. The interesting part isn’t that they looked for a fat gene (so last week), but they didn’t find anything. 99.9% of the time the article comes up with some excuse why someone is overweight outside of “they eat too much”. So an article that comes up empty gets a hat tip.

Up 11lbs across the board. The cleans were super easy. The front squats were pretty rough, but loosened up by the end (lesson learned, warm up more). Bench press was easy. I even stretched afterwards.
I ate like a pig last night. Mucho fried food-o. It was delicious.
