50min indoor soccer

Notes:

I learned I can’t play soccer.  That whole “coordination” thing really threw me off.  My conditioning seemed pretty solid so that’s definitely cool.  If I was actually playing with people that play soccer it might have been a little more telling, but I’m thrilled that I didn’t die.

Here’s an interesting article on yahoo discussing how people keep the weight off after having surgery.

“Essentially, you’ve got to eat a whole lot less.”

Thank you doctor.  I don’t know why but I just think that it’s kind of hilarious that this makes it to an article in the grand web of…the web.  It goes to show that some people think that surgery is a magical fix that makes everything all better.  Truth be told it is really.  It works by making people eat less.  If you find a way to not eat less then you get fat again.  And now we’re all smarter than we were a few seconds ago.

Seated Cable Row @ 198 (3 rep range)

Notes:
Everything went well enough.  I only got 3 reps on the squat.  The 4th ended up with me bailing and instead of just dropping it I twisted at the hip and dropped one side before the other.  Ever do something stupid?  Happened to me right there.  There doesn’t seem to be any damage done.  Hip is a little tight\tender but otherwise fine.  I did some quick mobility work and downed some ibuprofen, we’ll see how it feels tomorrow.

Today was good.  The thrusters kill me but made it through.  It’s been a hard training week so I went a little easier on the cardio portion of my day.  No major wrist screw ups today so I’d say it was faaaaaaantastic!
